3) From the Coot pond

3) From the Coot pond (Fulica atra)

And then came the Coot pond. Actually, the Gadwall and Tuftie ponds were nearly as crowded, only there I tried to isolate a few birds in one shot. Here I decided to go for the mass effect. And then, finally, I found the path. It was on the "wrong" side of the road, and then doubled back through a bike culvert under the bridge to the side where I'd (correctly) figured the bird refuge was. I'll share a few shots from there later, and that'll be the end of my round-the-world trip report.
