A dabbler
Continuing our wander round these ponds we next came across a Pacific Black Duck.

Like the Mallard these are one of the dabbling ducks, which have a bottoms up feeding action rather than diving.

I did find these guys to be quite handsome. Not colorful, but handsome nonetheless |=)|
 
You know I could take a chair and just watch these beauties all day. It's so peacful and gives you quiet time to relax. Beautiful shot, Delia.
