A day in my new hide (Acrocephalus scirpaceus)

tripod; -0.33 EV; 1/1250s; f/7.1; ISO 200
Time is passing by ... the project of my new hide - started in early January - is almost over, only a bench waits to be built.
I've spent a couple of afternoons in it, with frustrating results - the yellow reeds used as a front cover (very fit during wintertime) are now like a neon light in the green of the reedbed, they are quite visible from afar and could attract casual and unwanted visitors or ... worse ...
Furthermore the water level has kept quite high this spring, resulting in no waders in front of the hide. S...t!
So I sat down and relaxed a bit, only to be disturbed by this incessant chatting coming from the back of the hide .. I slowly turned around, placed the tripod and enjoyed ten minutes in the company of this very obliging bird!
