A flap about nothing.
A Juvenile Black-winged Stilt, feeding on insects from the water's surface. This young stilt was one of three, that the parents were keeping a close eye on. At times, they can be very vocal, especially in the summertime and when sensing danger.

I've a real soft spot for Stilts David... I just love black and white birds and these are so elegant too.

A super presentation you've made of this youngster lad - very well done and thanks for showing him to us.
