A Fresh New Female
Female Northern Cardinal. Not long out of the nest. Looking totally perfect.
Habitat
Forages mostly while hopping on ground or in low bushes, sometimes higher in trees. Readily comes to bird feeders, where it favors sunflower seeds.
Location
Back Yard, Myrtle Beach, SC. Here in the Southeast they are common all year long.
