A garden first

A garden first (Corvus monedula)

I only see Jackdaws at my local reservoirs, and I've never had close views. I've not seen or heard any locally, and I've never seen any near or in my garden... until today ;)

Poor light and still smeary windows, but it's always good to get a new species visiting the feeders; although I'm hoping it doesn't bring any friends, as the Starlings will have trouble getting to the feeders.

Oh, this looks like a youngster too

A fabulous capture of this handsome, young Jackdaw in a lovely setting, Chris !!! Watch out for the peanuts disappearing faster than usual (LOL). Super garden visitors. Thanks for sharing.

That's a great picture of your new garden visitor Chris.

I do hope he sticks around and brings his friends... you'll have loads of tales to tell us;)
