A garden scarcity
If I'm lucky I see a Bullfinch here about once a year, generally youngsters in the autumn though.

I saw a couple of blobs on top of the tree and tried to get them sideways through the double-glazing, so apologise for the poor image, but I wanted to record it.

A pretty year tick, as was another bird with him, which I'll show you later.

Always a rarity in my garden, hear them more often than see them.

On seeing the thumbnail I was expecting a Robin, so this was a real surprise! Such beautiful birds, you did well to get this pic. It's certainly much more than a record shot and captures the character of the species perfectly. Good work Delia.
