A long way from home
I believe this is a Herring gull. This is a first for me. The legs were pink, though they don't show up in the picture and it was larger than the
Ring-billed gulls it was with. I understand that we don't get these very often, this far inland. It just occurred to me, that I may have been mistaking these for juv Ring-bills.

A lovely close-up of this large and handsome juvenile! Congratulations on this newbie Robert!!!!

Don"t know much about gulls, other than they really like fast food! There's a gang of them living near the local MacDonald's restaurant. They visit every day. Nice shot of this one in his more 'natural' environment!
