A lucky break (Saxicola rubetra)

I'd been trying to get close to a whinchat all afternoon with no luck. While I was photographing the fltcatcher, it left one perch to catch a fly and the whinchat stole it. What a lucky break.

Whinchats are the one summer visitor I would very much like to get. I hope I getr one as good as yours.
