A native
Off we set to the intriguingly named Hogwash Bend! This was back upstream towards where we crossed the river the evening before.

Driving down the road towards the reserve we had to come to a stop so I could take this picture through the windscreen.

There was actually a little family, but those pictures weren't too well focused due to the glass (well that's my excuse)!

I saw one at Bowra, but didn't get a good picture that time.

A good picture regardless of the windscreen.

It seems most of your pictures from over there show dirt/natural roadways. But that's probably due to being "outback", is it not?

I've never even heard of this bird and a lovely capture of this Black-tailed Nativehen D.

You sure have gotten yourself an amazing number new birds girl.

With a name like Hogwash Bend, I would think you were talking about the current condition of North America more like the USA for lol. Great picture, Delia.
