A new honeyeater
You should have seen the first picture I got of this guy... hadn't a clue what it could be just I'd know it was different (... can see a SF picture coming;))

When he emerged properly into my vision, it turned into this beauty, a Scarlet Myzomela. It's also known as Scarlet Honeyeater

Sadly he was only there for a couple of pictures but I was quite pleased with this one.

I like the way the shadows complement the picture Delia. A brilliant well lit and colourfully posed capture, well done.
 
wonderful coloured bird, Delia, reminds me of the scarlet-headed blackbird I posted a few days ago. Superb photo an a great lifer, congratulations, many tfs!!!
