A new toy that works.

The flu 80% gone I decided to go to Werribee TP yesterday. It was a good day .. windy and not too bright. Lots of birds everywhere. Only problem was the change in which gates could be unlocked but not much of an inconvenience really! I was testing the Nikon 5100 as a digiscoping camera and it looks to be potentially very good if I get the glare off on the screen. This KSKite up a tall tree was a real poser!! I started off a distance away and when it didn't seem to mind I moved in closer ..and closer ..and closer. When I decided to stop shooting I looked around and found that I had left the car and track a ways back and was now standing in low very dense vegetation ...and who was it who announced seeing the first 'Tiger' in Werribee?? For whatever reason that thought burst into my head like a thunderbolt and needless-to-say that mirrored my return to the car!! The BSK still there as I drove away. hahaha!
