A sign of spring (Parus major)

A female Great Tit, her breast marking (resembling a necktie) is narrower than an adult male bird. Looks as if she has lost a few head feathers, could be because of this time of year, it is the mating season.
Habitat
Dense to open deciduous and coniferous Woodlands, bushy hillsides and hedgerows; often seen in gardens and a frequent visitor on bird tables and feeders.
