A Surprise Visitor – Long-tailed weasel
First photo, in a full run. — I was sitting quietly hoping to get some good pictures of some juvenile Cooper’s hawks in the near-by trees when this weasel appeared from under a brush pile. He was hunting for a quick supper. He is so full of energy I had trouble getting him in the frame. I made a lot of shutter clicks but these are the best of a not-so-great series. This sighting is a first for me, having lived here over fifty years. A rare event for me.

WOW what a cutie. thanks so much for this beautiful fun capture.

i have also the z50 nice camera. right now using it with the new z100-400mm, very light combo with nice IS, almost as nice as my Olympus gear in weight, i guess if they make another crop sensor body with nice focus and nice price i will consider it.

Another brilliant portrait of your rare visitor.
