Aberrant Bush Warbler
Taken on the Jinma River 30km west of Chengdu - January. These birds are common in this area moving about in small flocks - giving out soft 'chrrrr' calls.
This photo has caused a certain amount of discussion with regard to definite ID - but there seems a consensus that this bird is Aberrant Bush Warbler most likely subspecies intricata.
