I get a bit lost with these Rosellas. Think I've got this right though.

This is a Crimson Rosella, which at some point may be split off (and I think may already have been by some) as an Adelaide Rosella.

It's yellow, where the Crimson is red, but not another potential split (Yellow Rosella), which I think is found further east!

Can you see why I'm confused LOL

The light was still poor with leaden skies so not a great picture, but I thought it interesting enough to post.

a lovely picture indeed of these two rosellas, Delia. Clearly between the yellow and the red, it's quite easy to get confused. top class, many tfs!!!

The light is often not on our side and occasionally something can be done ... unfortunately not always.. Congrats ! Tfs

They really have to do the split. How can a Crimson be yellow? Maybe it's just that they haven't been able to make up their mind vis a vis the Yellow. Yes, confusing, but I'm betting your lifer count is going to go up by at least one armchair lifer once the split goes through.
