African Paradise Flycatcher

African Paradise Flycatcher (Terpsiphone viridis)

I went back to try and get the complete bird, tail and all!
Luck was on my side.
Habitat
Evergreen, coastal and riverine forests.
Location
Botanical gardens
Date taken
12-09-2004
Scientific name
Terpsiphone viridis
Equipment used
Canon 300D, 75-300mm
For this species people always manage to cut the tail off or only show a distant bird on their photos. You manged to get the astonishing tail (all of it!) and still the bird seems to be no more than a few arm-lenghts away! Absolutely beautiful!
