after frozen pond. (accipiter nisus)

returned home and my little sparrowhawk was waiting to greet me.he is here nearly every day but thought i would post this as he is not on his usual perch.not much info as he never stayed long just him and the magpie with their usual interactions.iso at 1600 and under exposed my back garden is very shaded but the bridge does better than my olympus in low light but that maybe me and not the cameras.

Oh nice one Margaret.

That's a lovely natural-looking setting you've found him in!

Geez Mags! You manage to catch the best expressions on this guy. This one is no exception. A great capture girl.

Lol, it almost sounds like one of those love hate relationships with the Magpies! Fabulous picture of this Sparrowhawk and taken at ISO 1600, very impressive Margaret!!!!!

Lol, he is there to greet you daily, lucky you, may not be so lucky for other birds around. Beautiful pose and shot in low light, Margaret!! tfs.
