Agricultural Wagtail

Agricultural Wagtail (Motacilla alba)

My resident Pied Wagtails have decided to have their second brood under the bonnet of my little tractor. The irony of this is that I was about to use it to dig out a pond in my garden, which would have brought some insects closer to home. I note the Damsel Fly as the chicks next meal. He would have had to travel 200yds for this.

West Wales

8th July 2008
