A reminder that we don't need to fill the frame with a bird. An excellent imaginative composition Ove. And while the bird is small, the catchlight in the eye is still there. Wonderful!

PS I've come back for another look, because it's a fascinating picture. What I like most about this image is the light, air, and sense of space in it.

That's the way I usually see Magpies, as they're so rare round here, so just distant view, if I'm lucky!!
