Almost too close!

Almost too close! (Thryomanes bewickii)

This little one walked so close that I had to back away. I'm assuming it was a youngster and didn't know any better.

To all of you on the east coast, please stay safe the new few days. That hurricane sounds nasty.

wonderful details and lighting on this little beauty Vicki! tfs it! Waiting to see if the storm turns out to sea a little bit. Only the areas very close to the ocean are forced to evacuate. Were about 2 miles away, outside the storm surge! Thanks for your concern! just got back today from NJ. Resting up after all that moving and cleaning! lol!

A wonderful opportunity you had with this wee guy Vicki! What a great picture you took of him.

Very well done lassie.
And you too Vicki; hope have adequate safety measures against the hurricane. I have seen young birds not bothered by their vicinity to strangers too; gives you a great opportunity for close up shots. A stunning close up portrait you have of this young beauty in a super pose!! tfs.
