Amami Woodcock perching (Scolopax mira)

Found this Woodcock on our tour the last night on the island. He was climbing up some vines working his way up to the tree. I like this shot as it shows the underwing colors and the leg bands. These birds are also found on Okinawa but I've never seen them here.
