AMERICAN ALLIGATOR PORT ST LUCIE, FLORIDA (Alligator mississippiensis)

Was out for a walk this afternoon and was by the pond behind my house and found 5 American Alligators hanging around. This one was sunning itself on the opposite shore so I felt fairly safe. This one went into the water shortly after I took this picture.
