American Bald Eagle (Haliaeetus leucocephalus)

Taken on the way home from the lake after I had given up on getting a close-up of an eagle. My lense just wasn't strong enough. A mother was pointing this one out to her child and I pulled over to see what she was pointing at. It was a gift!
