I did not expect to come across this beauty today. Apparently, I did not see it on the other side of the Lake.

Habitat
They prefer lakes and reservoirs with lots of fish and surrounding forests. In the winter, bald eagles can be seen around unfrozen lakes and hunting along coastlines, reservoirs, and rivers. During their migration, bald eagles are seen near all types of water habitats.

Great photo, KC. I am impressed!

I had never heard of this location, Googled it, and was surprised to see where this is. The last time I was down there, this was mostly empty streets where the old AFB had formerly been located. Good memories of that area for a lot of years.
