American Goldfinch (Carduelis tristis)

I've got a spot on the West fence line of the garden that faces my neighbor's woodsy back yard. On sunny days the afternoon sun shining through the trees makes for some very interesting backgrounds.

The Am. Goldfinch flock has gotten a bit smaller and now there seems to be only 35 to 40 birds left but they are still eating their heads off! I hope you all don't get tired of seeing Am. Goldfinch shots from me. They are the most numerous birds here at the moment.
