A bitter winter day today. I'm sometimes tempted to brave it and try my luck getting shots in one of our local forests on days like this. But I knew I wouldn't have any fun.
So to get my weekend bird photography fix, I set up my gear in the kitchen behind the sliding glass door to take shots at the bird feeder. There were a lot of finches around - ten at one point. I really wasn't expecting any good shots but I was surprised to get this one half decent photo.
