American Goldfinch (Carduelis tristis)

Drum Roll please..... I finally captured something new and I took it today. I'm running to the store and getting me some finch food!!! I only get to see these maybe several times a year at the most. Don't know why it's so seldom. I love birds but I'm still learning.

Sure wish he come back. I might see them high in the trees but near my feeder hardly ever. Today was so windy!! Saw nothing new and activity was pretty low.
