American Kestrel (Falco sparverius)

The little falcon was sitting next to a rain gutter enjoying the late afternoon sun. He sat still long enough for this portrait.

Taken with a Nikon 800mm manual focus lens adapted to an Oly em5.2 (2x crop) with an additional 4.5x linear crop, for an effective focal length of 7200mm.
