American Robin
O

American Robin

Cracking shot Mike thanks, I love these birds, I hope they will still be around in september.

Your robins are larger and I like the striking colours around the head.

Cora.

They are about the same size as a Blackbird, maybe a little bigger. And in answer to Mali they will still be around in September, hordes of them as they breed like rabbits!

Yes I would call them American Redbellied Thrush. Look at their familynames:

Blackbird = Turdus merula
American Robin = Turdus migratorius

No robins, but Thrushes.

Love your capture though, its stunning :D
