American Robin
Fowl Mouth

American Robin (Turdus migratorius)

This is not the best shot for showing off the "red" belly that this species is known for. I was, however, pleased to catch this girl in one of my ornamental apple trees, as opposed to ground hopping for wiggly snacks. She's a sure sign of Spring, something that I am welcoming after a very cold winter. ;)

Hi Jason!! This is a fantastic over the shoulder capture, with that eye as bright as a buttton :t::t::t:

You and me both Jason, its been cold here too. I love these birds, and I have never viewed one from this angle buddy, nice take, thanks.

Beautiful capture Jason. I've been seeing more of these around lately. Just had one in my bird bath as a matter of fact. Spring can't be too far off can it?

The robin looks great framed in the red berries, very good details & colors..Nice work:t:
