- Cedar Park is situated in the Lampasas Cut Plain vegetation area. Urban business district. An ephemeral creek impoundment (ponds) bisected by Discovery Blvd, the ponds are surrounded by a wide concrete bike and walk path with the pond’s margins lined with Baccharis sp., Solidago sp., King Ranch Bluestem (Bothriochloa ischaemum var. songarica), and large patches of soft-stemmed club-bulrush (Schenoplectus tabernaemontana: Cyperaceae). The club-bulrush being in the water’s edge. The elevation is 285 m (935 ft).
