An alpine gem.
Spring gentian. Vanoise. Late july 2007.

I love the gentian blue colour and I love this alpine flower. It is very common in the alpine zone (above the tree line) in the Alps,where it delights the eye of the walker.

Love the colours of this beautiful flower, saw some of these on my drive up through the Picos (Spain).Very nice thanks, for the memory.
