An occasional visitor (Turdus pilaris)

This was such a lovely way to close the year.

I knew the blob at the top of the tree wasn't a 'usual' blob, so started snapping away and was so pleased to find a Fieldfare sitting up there. A species that comes in only very rarely to the garden. The last time was about 2 years ago.

He was only there for about 3 minutes, so I was lucky to spot him I think.

Well, I gotta say, your 'blob' turned out lovely D. This is a great capture of this Fieldfare girl.

terrific visitor delia.a couple of years ago i saw these guys along with redwing visit my garden but next doors cat chased them off.the first time i had fieldfare & redwing together in my garden.you take care.all the best margaret.
