An unfortunate collared dove

I heard a loud 'thump!' in my garden, followed by a snowstorm of feathers.
This female s/hawk appears to have found a spot in my small garden to bring her lunch, as I have found various 'bits' of ex-birds in the past few months. That's nature, I guess.
Equipment used
Canon 400D + Sigma 50-500
Cracking capture, I had a similar experience earlier in the year, nearly broke a leg trying to get the camera. Anyway well done and thanks for sharing.

Thats the difference in being top of the food chain, as opposed to being at the bottom, nature is tough, the law of the jungle, good capture.

Sorry, I didn't realise this was your first image on the forum, welcome to Birdforum.Net, and look forward to seeing more pics from you.

I'll add to the welcomes. "My" pair of sparrowhawks find their lunch in my garden and take it into next doors garden!!! Not a pretty sight but fascinating to watch, well captured:clap::clap:
