and here is the boy (Hedydipna metallica)

they become very difficult to find in September and October, only rain make them come out, and also these lovely ponsina flowers.

this is the eclipse male, which means after he lost his long tail and most of his colored feathers.

even in eclipse plumage a real beauty, Duha!!! and captured in a marvelous setting with those lovely flowers and colors, top class, many tfs!!!
