And then the weather got worse (Cyanistes caeruleus)

You can see how dark those clouds were. It not only rained that day, it snowed as well. Still, I did get a few nice Blue Tit shots that day. I think the dark sky helped saturate the colors. Or maybe it was the wet weather that literally saturated the bird :S

I find that sometimes overcast conditions really helps level out the contrast in a photo like this. It's often better for me(with my bridge camera and its lousy dynamic range) to caoture a bird's eye clearly then when it's sunny. Anyway, a lovely shot of this little beaut, nicely done and tfs!

Strange.... wasn't that when it was quite hot here.... you poor thing.

A lovely picture you've got of this wee bluey... always a delight to watch aren't they Ann.

A beautiful Blue Tit image, Doc! Sometimes rain does bring out the colours if there's enough light.
