Andean Fox
Andean Fox (Lycalopex culpaeus: Canidae) Also known as Culpeo. We saw two, this one was on Manu Road in front of Cock of the Rock Lodge. Apparently this fox gets food from the lodge and is use to people. The other one was a few miles up Manu Road but was very skittish.
Habitat
Eastern-slope of the Andes in the foothills at 1,398 m (4,587 ft) elevation.
Location
Manu Road in front of Cock of the Rock Lodge, northeast of Challabamba, Parque Nacional del Manu, Madre de Dios Department, Per.
