Anna's Hummingbird: Wing Study, 1 of 2 (Calypte anna)

Taken at the Martin Luther King Jr. Regional Shoreline at about 4.5m.

This is the same hummingbird from my [URL=http://www.birdforum.net/gallery/showphoto.php/photo/521467/ppuser/119570]recent gallery photo[/URL]. The photos are in-order (left-to-right, top-to-bottom), shot during a burst while he was stretching and flapping while perched. I found the series quite an interesting look at their wings.
