It was a good year in my backyard for migratory warblers. And I'm sure the Redstarts were just passing thru because there were some around for a couple of weeks and then all gone. But they were fun to watch: constantly flitting about chasing bugs, flicking & fanning their tails.

I believe July's too early here in Edmonton for the migrants but I'm not sure. Checked my Sibley's and California isn't part of their itinerary:(
