Another bather (Turdus iliacus)

I don't get many Redwing shots. We have loads of Redwings here in the summer, or at least it sounds like there are loads of them. Could be just a handful doing their endless loop of repeats of the same 3-note "joke" (and then chuckling to themselves). But many or few, they're not as bold as their cousins the Fieldfares, so it's rare I get close enough for a good shot. I had to sit very still and wait patiently for this one.

Yes patience indeed....the nicest pic I've ever seen of a Redwing. They are fairly shy so this is a great capture Ann.
