Another Early Arrival (Archilochus alexandri)

First the calliopes arrived early and are still at my feeders after 9 days-they normally stayed no more than 2 days.

Then this black-chinned hummer arrived 6 days early and has been here for 3 days-he normally stays a day and a half. He's considered a rare sighting in our county even though I've been seeing them every year since 2009.
