Another Hooded Merganser (Lophodytes cucullatus)

This is the type of Merganser that I see most frequently. This winter I've seen more of them than ever before. Here is one that I saw on my way to work.
Habitat
Huron River
Location
Huron River, Ypsilanti, Michigan, USA
Date taken
February 25, 2009
Scientific name
Lophodytes cucullatus
Equipment used
Nikon D2Xs, Tamron 200-500 mm lens
Nice shot, I saw about 50 last week, but all I could get was their butts as they hauled ass across the lake.:eek!:
