This one I actually don't know the answer to. At times we didn't see a lot of birds on the Romania trip. Not that we didn't see enough birds - in all 157 species, I think - but when when we were having a "slow" moment, we also had insects, reptiles, amphibians, shellfish, mammals and plants to explore, including some we couldn't identify. Can anybody help with this pretty little blue flower?

Yes, I see the resemblance to speedwell weed. Very similar, but those have 4-petals per flower, so this has to be a different species. Maybe related to flax???

It's a Very Pretty Blue Flower..... but that makes a very long name;)

A lovely picture Ann, thanks.

It is a very pretty flower, Ann. I'm afraid I can't help with the ID. This blue five-petalled flower with round lobes makes me think of meadow crane's bill. I am puzzled by the spiky leaves.
