Another Red-head
Despite the bright colours, I was walking to photo the Galah and did not see this Eastern Rosella sitting quietly in the grass. A little more cautions than the Galah, it did not stay for long, but I was able to get this shot. Originally thought it may have been an Adelaide Rosella, but the colours were not right.
Habitat
The Eastern Rosella is found in open woodlands, grasslands, farmlands and remnant bushland. Often found in urban habitats such as parks, gardens and golf courses
Location
Morialta Conservation Park, Adelaide.
Date taken
9th November 2008

I liked the shot of the Rosella on the ground. Well captured and thanks for the comment about my Rosie. Boyd
