Another shadowy bird
This is the last picture from Mannum; along with the Magpie-Lark were a company of Black-tailed Nativehens.

I'd first seen these way back at Bowra, but they were very distant and in the shade, so hardly recognisable. Strangely this is only the third picture to come into the Gallery this year, after a gap of 3 years!

Delia, excuse me, do you mean this is only the third time these species have been posted in the last three years? Anyway they are great looking and remind me of the Moorhen.
