Anticipation
This sweet juvenile Ruby-throated Hummingbird was a visitor to my garden last September. We had quite a few here focused on feeding to get ready for their long migration. The Salvias like in this photo were very popular feeding stations for these lovely and feisty birds. Can't wait for their return!

Gorgeous detail makes this a superb shot. Until seeing this shot, I would have been skeptical about featuring a hummingbird in monochrome... this convinced me otherwise.

This is simply an exqiusite image Deanne for which you will need no luck in the competion...but good luck anyway!

Lovely photo - great detail (I like the cute little feet). I'm sure you will do well in the competition, but good luck.

A cracking shot Deanne :t:...and the monochromatic effect rocks

Beautiful monochrome image, Deanne, best of luck in the competition (though I have a feeling that you won't need much luck with this image |=)|)
