Anyone for Tennis?
Goodness... I was watching the tennis from Wimbledon at the end of June, when this colourful Peacock, first landed on the shed roof, then flew across to the roof of the Adult Resource Centre beside me.

He wandered about up there, then flew down to the ground and back up again!

A local hotel has some, so I presume he came from there.

I occasionally see them wandering the streets round here, but this is the first one to come into the garden since about 2009!

Not sure if the tail is fully developed, so may be a young adult, I suppose.

Wow, what a great garden bird to get Delia,
I thought I was doing well with a Pheasant as my latest garden tick!

Bet it took your eyes of the tennis for a while Delia. Brilliant colourful close up, well done.

A beautifully captured, detailed close-up image of this colourful Peacock, Delia !!! Thanks for sharing. Best Wishes.

Great job Delia. They sure are beautiful. We have some wandering around here too but I never have the camera handy.
