Arabian waxbill (Estrilda rufibarba)

when we were waiting for the woodpecker to show up to feed the youngs, the parent take long time to find the right food, in the meanwhile a group of these tiny waxbills came to feed on the ground very close, glad they first perched on that stick.

A masked bandit with flare (lol). Love that red mask! Fabulous pose, head turn, eye contact, colors, feather detail, lighting, and background. Superb Doux! TFS!
