Very, very pretty.
Ive been meaning to visit the Farnes myself for some time but have never got around to it.
Great capture of one of the islands most infamous birds! :t::t::t:

Wow, thanks everyone for the amazing comments! I'm almost speechless. The Farnes in summer are a fantastic place to visit. It does get a bit crowded (especially on the boats with a great big lens!) but it's worth it. The bird life is incredible: if you were inclined to do so, you could reach out and touch some of the birds.

Does anyone know what the verdict is on declining numbers of sea birds such as the puffins, terns and others of the Farnes and similar habitats? I'm very interested in the conservation of these birds and have heard that numbers of some are declining because of the scarcity of sand eels. Do any of you know where I can find out more about this please? I'd like to fill in my knowledge.

Yours, chuffed to bits,
Kaleel

Beautiful, Kaleel. A dream pose for a Tern. Shining blue sky with clouds to crown this image. I like this a lot.

Thanks Aki, glad my lens was between me and it! They have very sharp bills...
